Tripwire on your Fedora Box

If you have built the binary as per the earlier instruction, continue with this step and skip the next step (which is for users who downloaded the binary). If you have downloaded the binary, skip this one and follow the next step.

Now login as root and continue the process.

# rpm -Uvh /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/tripwire-2.3.1-18.fdr.3.1.i386.rpm
Preparing...                ########################################### [100%]
   1:tripwire               ########################################### [100%]

If you have downloaded the binary, change to the directory where you have downloaded the binary (for example, /tmp)

# rpm -Uvh tripwire-2.3.1-18.fdr.3.1.i386.rpm
Preparing...                ########################################### [100%]
   1:tripwire               ########################################### [100%]

From this point, the instructions are same for everyone.
