This is more like a bug report or solution to a problem.
The tg3 driver (used in fedora with NIC using the broadcom chip) do not
work with the cisco vpnclient. Many Fedora users have experienced this problem.
The solution is to download and use the drivers from Broadcom.com, kernelmodule bcm5700. The issue has been difficult to troubleshoot, so this suggestion might help users facing similar problem. - submitted by Eivind Privat.
