Hoyt Duff has assisted in editing the English-language version of Linux Netmag. He made a volunteer effort editing several English-language chapters in the Linux-Mandrake Users Guide and Reference Manual that will accompanied the boxed versions of Mandrake 7.0 through 8.2. Formerly writing for the now-defunct MaximumLinux Magazine, he continues to have a monthly editorial column in Linux Format Magazine and regularly contributes tutorials and reviews to it.
Hoyt has been a contributing author to Red Hat Linux 7.2 Unleashed and graduated to co-author of Red Hat Linux 8 Unleashed and Red Hat Linux 9 Unleashed. Currently, he is working with noted Linux author Billy Ball on Red Hat Linux Fedora Unleashed, scheduled for release in January, 2004.
UPDATE 2005-02-11
Hoyt has informed us that he will be retiring due to a medical reason.
On behalf of FedoraNEWS.ORG, I would like to say a big thanks for his contributions to Fedora Community.
