Status of Livna Repository

Last week we asked maintainers of Third Party YUM Repositories a short description of their repositories and current status of YUM repository for FC4.

We just received a reply from Damien Nadé, the maintainer of a Third Party Repository - Livna (http://rpm.livna.org/) with following good news.

Sorry for not answering earlier, I wasn't at home. I had taken a whole
vacation week and was present at the FUDCon II in Karlsruhe. I've been
99% of the time offline during that week and didn't read my e-mail at
all. If it's not too too late, here is our status.
The rpm.livna.org for Fedora Core 4 repository is 90-95% rebuilt. The
few remaining packages either need to be fixed for gcc4 or will be
simply dropped because they are not maintained anymore (either upstream
like ogle, which can fully be replaced by xine-lib frontends, either in
rpm.livna.org because package maintainer left).
Our repository structure has changed. We have dropped the debianish
stable/testing/unstable repositories, which required too much work and
wasn't really useful for people, in favor of a single 'lvn' repository.
This time, we are also providing a livna-release package[1], which hold
the GPG key used to sign packages and a yum `repo' file that will make
your yum configuration rpm.livna.org-ready. This package can be used for
both i386 and x86_64 architectures.
Also, thanks to some generous donors, we managed to buy a new build
server that will be used for both i386 and x86_64 archs. This server
will allow us to make rebuild faster - either by hardware speed, and by
allowing more people to access it - and will allow us to share the same
GPG key [2] for both x86_64 and i386 architectures.
Some people are also working on rpm.livna.org for FC4 PPC. There's no
ETA that I know of yet for it, but we're fixing packages in our
subversion repository and we will announce it on the website when the
PPC repository will be ready.
We will post on fedora-announce-list in the next days to tell people
we're alive :)
