  • How to create a new page to write your article:
    • Edit your home page from Contributors to type * YYYY-MM-DD [[Your Article Name]] then save.
    • This will create a *NEW* link. Click on the link to type your article.
    • When your article is ready to publish, please submit the article to Thomas Chung by email.
    • Your article will be Protected/Restricted/Edited before posting to next issue of Fedora Weekly News.


  • To link internal, external pages and email address
    • Use double brackets [[Thomas Chung]] to link an internal page
    • Use single bracket with URL [http://www.google.com Google] to link an external page
    • Use single bracket with mailto: [mailto:tchung@fedoranews.org Thomas Chung] to link an email address
    • Example)

  • To make a list of items,
    • Use single star (*) for first level items
    • Use doulbe stars (**) for second level items
    • Example)
If you type,
*Things to buy:
** Pencil
** Paper
** Eraser
It will shows as
  • Things to buy:
    • Pencil
    • Paper

  • To bold and italicize a text,
    • Use triple quotes (''') to make it bold
    • Use double quotes ('') to make it italicize


  • Please do not use following special characters in Page Titles
    • " # $ * + < > = @ [ ] \ ^ ` { } | ~
