Changes to fedora-advisory-board list

So, I've made some changes to the fedora-advisory-board list, effective this morning. Membership is now "confirm via email" rather than "moderater approved" so basically list subscription is now the same as all other Fedora lists. Still, fedora-advisory-board is the place where we like to have some of the higher-level decision making begin, but with the assumption that it will be pushed off to other lists as appropriate.

As for which of the features are my favorite, I'd have to say it's the infrastructure around merging Core and Extras, and then the ability to do separate 'spins' of Fedora. We've long talked about removing any qualitative distinction between Core and Extras, and the best way to do that is to have everyone working in the same pool, towards the same release.

The Fedora Directory Server core package is now available from Fedora Extras. Many thanks again to Dennis Gilmore, and to Jarod Wilson, the Fedora DS community, and all of those who reviewed the package. Once the mirrors are updated, on fc-5 and fc-7 (the fc-6 build systems are having problems at the moment), you should be able to do a 'yum install fedora-ds'.

앰배서더스 리포트(Ambassadors Report) - SCALE5X

Fifth Annual Southern California Linux Expo. According to recent announcement[2], there were over 1000 attendees in this year's event. Close to 70 exhibitors[3] including Non-Profit Organizations, Commercial Vendors and User Groups. This is my second year participation for Fedora Project[4] and I feel this year is much improved and crowded event than previous year. Also I was told this is the first time Red Hat[5]'s participation to this event.
