Alan Cox (http://foss.in/2005/schedules/talkdetails.php?talkcode=A0930014) was a pretty big celebrity and gave a speech on participation and kernel device drivers (quite a crowd puller) . Some event photos can be found in James Morris' blog (http://www.livejournal.com/users/james_morris/7564.html).

Interesting stats for everyone." In this Netcraft article (http://news.netcraft.com/archives/2005/12/05/strong_growth_for_debian.html), "Red Hat remains the most popular distribution for web hosting, and is still the best known distribution outside of the Linux developer community itself." "More significantly, some large hosting companies, like 1&1 and Affinity, are now offering Fedora - Red Hat's free, community distribution - instead of Red Hat on new dedicated servers."
