  • OpenAFS.org (http://openafs.org/) announced (http://lists.openafs.org/pipermail/openafs-announce/2005/000120.html) that OpenAFS 1.4 Release Candidate 4 RPMs now available including Fedora Core 4.
  • Unfortunately, I found those OpenAFS Kernel Modules for SMP were causing incorrect dependency errors so I've reported it to Derek Atkins (mailto:warlord@MIT.EDU). Next day, he says he got the fix and he will apply it in his sources for the next release.
  • In the mean time, I rebuilt OpenAFS 1.4.0rc4 RPMs for FC4 (http://fedoranews.org/tchung/openafs/1.4.0rc4/fc4/) with my own fix and wrote a little script (http://fedoranews.org/tchung/openafs/1.4.0rc4/fc4/modules/) to build openafs-kernel modules.
