- Last week, I registered fedora-marketing-list (http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-marketing-list/) with Gmaine Service (http://gmane.org/) and now I can see it (http://dir.gmane.org/gmane.linux.redhat.fedora.marketing) already in their database.
- I updated for Linux World San Francisco 2005 page in Current events with more useful information including Tracks (http://www.linuxworldexpo.com/live/12/events/12SFO05A/conference/tracks) and Birds-of-a-Feather (http://www.linuxworldexpo.com/live/12/events/12SFO05A/conference/special) which is a casual, informal meeting where Jack Aboutboul (http://www.linuxworldexpo.com/live/12/events/12SFO05A/conference/bio//CMONYA00B6X7) will be there.
- It's a great news when Dirk Westfal informed me that he was invited to join Fedora LiveCD Project (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/LiveCD) by Greg DeKoenigsberg (http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/GregDeKoenigsberg) with Red Hat. They alrady had an IRC meeting (https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-livecd-list/2005-July/msg00015.html) for sharing/improving code of the installer. BTW, Excellent job on his article!
- Last week, I committed to watch this movie - March of the Penguins (http://wip.warnerbros.com/marchofthepenguins/) this weekend and I finally watched it with my wife this evening. I was amazed how full the theatre was (we had to seat in the front row) and I thought the picture was stunning. I even found an exellent article (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4716575) which includes 3 mins of video clip and 6 mins of audio review. Make sure to install RealPlayer to watch or listen to the steaming real media.
- Question: How many Fedora Mail List Subscribers does it take to change a lightbulb? Answer: 993 Find out why (http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-list/2005-July/msg03124.html).
