  • I updated Fedora Archive Lists in Community Portal with Gmaine Service (http://gmane.org/) which provides an easy way to read mailing lists in news reader. I specially like Blog-style web interface and RSS feeds. I also registered fedora-marketing-list (http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-marketing-list/) with Gmail service so it should show up on their database (http://dir.gmane.org/search.php?match=fedora) very soon.
  • I added a few more links for Wikimedia Projects in Links including Wikinews (http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Main_Page) where I learned how to use Template:Develop for MediaWiki and Third Party Vendor Security Advisories links including Adobe where I found two vulnerabilities for Adobe Reader.
  • I received a nice email from one our readers:
Thank you very much for FedoraNEWS. I find the format to be appealing and
the content to be just right. You seem able to pick out the items of
significant interest and present them in a readable style.

I support the idea of using input from your various contributors in their
own words rather than trying to distill them. This approach gives me an idea
of what folks are thinking.

I still think of myself as a neophyte in Linux even though I have recently
completed a 30+ year career in information systems. (I was the CIO for a
couple of major US corporations for the past 20 years.)

Keep up the good work. It inspires the rest of us.

P.S. I have FC4 running on two i386 machines and am experimentng with deMUDI on a 3rd.
  • Dirk Westfal who is the creator of basilisk Live CD (http://www.linux4all.de/livecd/basilisk/1.40/) agreed to write an article about creating a LiveCD for Fedora Core 4 in our next issue of Fedora Weekly News. I'm very excited how the article will turn out to be and how wonderful it's going to be to have our own LiveCD for Fedora Project.
  • I've been meaning to watch this movie for a long time - March of the Penguins (http://wip.warnerbros.com/marchofthepenguins/) - I think I'll watch it this week for sure. There is something about a penguin which makes me to think - I must watch this movie! image:smile.png
