Dirk Westfal (mailto:dirk.westfal@frankfurter-verein.de) is a fascinated Linux enthusiast since 1998 (redhat 5.2, appollon). He is working as senior network administrator and quality assurance representative in a government related company located in frankfurt/main germany and also works as consultant on several business-to-government projects.

The company uses linux to provide a reliable network infrastructure via MAN to ~600 users at 40 locations since 2000, and also acts as service provider for (linux based) government applications.
